Welcome to my web-site.

I'm a portrait and landscape artist working out of Glasgow in Scotland, below you will find a link to examples of my recent work.

I paint mostly in oils on gesso primed boards and prefer to paint my subjects from photographs as I feel this gives me more control over lighting variations and colour changes. However certain of my portraits have been finished with a final, short sitting, in an attempt to capture the presence and personality of the sitter.
